EMS Alarm testing

Blue Earth County Emergency Management, in partnership with the cities within the county, has been conducting a countywide siren assessment project. Actual siren testing will happen the week of April 20 (weather dependent).
During this time, residents may hear brief, intermittent siren sounds as part of the testing process. These tests will be short in duration.
Important: In the event of an actual tornado warning, sirens will sound continuously for 2 full minutes.
Testing may occur during daytime and evening hours throughout the week.
